In depth

Verdict

SATWA GOLD is difficult to overlook in this company. Farncombe and Hector Spectre can make a race of it, while Quick Single could at least be expected to get the better of Day In Dubai if match bet were available between the two. The selection was handed a stiff mark after winning on his all-weather debut back in March and it's taken a while for him to reach a more realistic level. The drop into claiming company worked the oracle last time out and the Ed Dunlop-trained three-year-old showed a willing attitude to score under a calm ride form Kieren Fallon. Connections have secured the services of Richard Hughes on this occasion and it we expect more of the same from Satwa Gold today. Farncombe has arguably the best form out of the rest and is taken as the best alternative should Satwa Gold fail to cope with the surface at Lingfield for any reason.
