      Verdict

      Primo De Vida has gone close over 7f on more than one occasion and, if allowed an easy lead over this shorter trip, he could finally get off the mark. However, SAILING NORTH is less exposed and showed enough when runner-up to Greenhead High over today's distance at Kempton last time to suggest he would not be long in winning. Ron Harris' charge can confirm recent form with Lady Ellice and take this contest. The remainder with any experience are hard to fancy, but the newcomer Stand Beside Me is worth noting on his belated debut as he's a half-brother to a winner on Polytrack.
