      Verdict

      A further step up in trip is likely to suit the stoutly-bred Wolverhampton runner-up ISLE OF AVALON, who can get back to winning ways. Mundersfield has yet to make the frame in six attempts but he’s not been beaten far in a couple of runs this winter so could be the one for forecast-backers as Galitello only beat one home in lesser company here last time when favourite and it’s difficult to make a case for Thresholdofadream and Knight Commander.
