In depth

Verdict

Willkandoo is fairly well treated judged by official BHA ratings and ran well when narrowly beaten in this grade over course and distance last month but David Simcock's gelding may again have to settle for minor honours with a better bet looking to be TEASING, who gets the verdict ahead of Jake The Snake. Tony Carroll has his string in good heart right now so his runner has to be respected especially having been running well in this grade of late. Gold Rock has been well held in his most recent starts in France and is probably best watched on his first start for Tony Carroll, while Autumn Blades is capable but inconsistent. Preference then is for Jeff Pearce's Teasing, who is well treated on official BHA ratings and has been showing a decent level of form in recent starts in handicaps so should appreciate the drop in grade today.
