Verdict
A weak seller can go the way of John Best's King After ahead of the thoroughly exposed Savoy Chapel. A winner here at Lingfield in the past, the selection has been performing consistently this winter and deserves to get his head in front even if it is in such a lowly contest as this. The drop to a mile shouldn't inconvene too much and he looks the one to beat. Savoy Chapel has been competing in very poor contests of late but has been in fairly consistent form of late and looks the one most likely to give his running and lay it own to the selection. He warrants respect along with Homebred Star who has the ability but has been in woeful form of late so cannot be put forward with any confidence. Laugh 'n Cry has place claims but ultimately is winless in 21 starts so that statistic doesn't encourage. Keynes is returning from a monster layoff but should be watched in the market for signs of confidence, but for the winner we will confidently return to King After.
