In depth

Verdict

Battle Of Marathon bounced back to form over 1m6f at Chelmsford last week. He completed a double early in the year and makes more appeal than Monjeni, who is upped in class for this. Singing The Blues looks worth another try over this longer trip but ROCHESTER HOUSE makes most appeal. A winner over 2m at Ascot in October, he can race off a 5lb lower mark on only his fourth outing on the all-weather and Mark Johnston’s charge should go close again.
