Verdict
Surprise Dewhurst winner Milk It Mick makes his return to action here and has to be respected but, under a Group 1 penalty and at the forecast odds, he looks worth taking on which we do with Rosencrans, who gets the nod over Kings Point. The last mentioned looked a progressive performer last term until disappointing in the Vintage Stakes when last seen. With Brian Meehan's stable in such good form at present, Leitrim House has to be respected, along with the race fit Bravo Maestro and Mark Johnston's Parkview Love. However, it is Rosencrans who gets the vote. Saeed Bin Surror's colt made a winning start to his career in America prior to a creditable third in the UAE 2,000 Guineas on his first start in Dubai. Subsequent success at Nad Al Sheba and here over seven furlongs last time, suggest that the son of Forest Wildcat is going the right way. There are no problems with the surface for the American bred, who is preferred to Milk It Mick.
