Verdict
Domination could do better now dropped back in trip while Oriental Cat disappointed when last seen but the form of that race has since received several boosts and he could go well, but we like NAVE. Mark Johnston's charge has improve markedly of late and can defy a 6lb penalty at a track he's run well at before, with his tactical versatility an advantage. Sparkling Smile is unbeaten in handicaps and took care of an improving stablemate of Nave's last time, in the process showing that today's trip is well within her compass. She only just does enough which means that the handicapper is finding it hard to grab her but the filly's sole try on this surface resulted in a comprehensive defeat and that just puts us off. Goodwood Starlight won well for this rider at Epsom two starts back and drops back to the same grade following a subsequent failure, adding strength to the contest.
