Verdict

This looks a competitive maiden for the time of year with the nicely-bred newcomers Baisse and Movingly both representing powerful Newmarket yards. Experience can be vital in this type of contest, however, so this may rest between Lady Rosamunde and AL KHATMA. The former, a half-sister to disqualified Oaks runner-up Meeznah, is sure to be suited by this step up in trip after finishing second on her debut over 7f at Kempton. But preference is for Marco Botti's filly, who ran green on her introduction at Wolverhampton but stayed on strongly once the penny dropped and will know more today.
