In depth

Verdict

The hat-trick-seeking Wild Ground has only ever won at Fontwell and Folkestone and, carrying a penalty in this better race, is worth taking on today. Valley View's jumping let him down at Cheltenham but McCoy is back in the saddle here while My Boy Paddy is only a pound higher than when second at Chepstow last time, though was behind Valley View at Carlisle earlier. BALLYGARVEY won over hurdles at this track a year ago and is potentially well treated over fences. He'll have learned plenty from his run behind Molotof at Taunton and could represent some value in this. The returning Good Order is also worth a second look.
