Verdict

Vespasian was very green at Kempton last month so did well to finish as close as he did. Applaud Now showed definite improvement from his debut when fourth at Wolverhampton while Jade Country got within half-a-length of the winner at Kempton and should make further progress. Tessy Lad is by Australia and a half-brother to two 6f winners but MONTESECCO cost 255,000gns and is a half-brother to four winners so can make a successful debut for Godolphin.
