Verdict

A poor seller gets proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals look to be Nothing Likea Dame, Spitfire Jane and Solaria and the narrow vote is given to Nothing Likea Dame. The selection was a fair sixth behind Mission Control in similar grade last time out, looks sure to be suited by the drop in trip and in a poor affair he gets the most tenuous vote. Spitfire Jane rates the main danger as he hails from a yard that has a good record in this grade and she was a fair fourth behind Applauded when last seen. This is a poor contest and she will not have to improve much to land a blow. Solaria is a well bred filly by Desert Prince and will not need to be anything special to take a hand on her debut. Carry On Cleo would have chances on his best form but has shown little of late so cannot be put forward with much confidence. Of the remainder, What's For Tea was a fair second behind So Sublime last time out and is another that will not be far away but for the winner we return to Nothing Likea Dame to small stakes.
