Verdict
LACROSSE is the one to be with although Ladies Dancing is quite an interesting newcomer and Mellow Mixture has shown a fair standard of form. The Lordship Stud owned colt is hardly a dark horse given his prominent connections, Derby entry and promising debut but he should take all the beating here. He made his debut in a fair maiden and finished in close attendance despite not seeming to know what was required of him; he will now and should take the beating. Mellow Mixture is exposed and vulnerable to a runner with ability and may have to settle for more place prize money, likewise Crag Path who showed a modicum of ability towards the back end of January. Jamie Osborne's string is going well and he introduces a half-brother to a number of winners but Lacrosse should hit the back of the net.
