Verdict

A quartet of recent winners to consider but both Munaawib and Poetry Writer were registering their first wins when scoring at Southwell and this track respectively and neither makes any appeal off higher marks today. Teen Ager has been rolling back the years and steps up a furlong as he bids for the hat-trick. He beat Spinning Ridge in March, though the latter re-opposes on better terms despite having won at Bath last month. KARATE won this off a higher mark last year and, after going close over course and distance last time, he looks set for a repeat with Nicole Nordblad's allowance further helping his cause.
