Verdict
Wiseguy has had an interrupted campaign but possesses a fair amount of ability and is the TEAMtalk choice to take advantage of a significant drop in grade. Sir Michael Stoute's charge has put up a string of consistent efforts in useful turf maidens and was far from disgraced when fifth of 12 over 12f on his handicap bow (rated 82) at Ripon in August. The son of Darshaan should prove hard to beat at this level against inferior rivals headed by Sunday's Well. David Elsworth's filly was returning from an absence when well below her best in a modest Bath maiden last month and is best watched at present but both Theatre and The Sadler can be given a chance on their best form if fit following a mid-season break.
