        Verdict

Kabeer can turn back the clock to gain another course-and-distance victory, with Littleton Telchar, All Quiet and Golden Alchemist seen as the main dangers. There are not many that line up here with good recent form, but Kabeer has at least been runner-up on each of his last two outings, here the time before last when he tied up on the line, and three weeks ago at Southwell when put in his place by Red Contact. The return to the Polytrack will help, and if he can get into the lead early, a big run is on the cards. Littleton Telchar has topweight to overcome after his 25-1 success at Kempton last time, and that makes his task tougher. However, he is one of the few that have recent form to call on, so has to be on the short-list. All Quiet has lacked finishing pace of late but generally goes well here, while Golden Alchemist handles the surface but is too inconsistent to back with confidence. For that reason we return to Kabeer as the selection.
