Verdict
This looks competitive on paper with Flash of Colour, Always Bold and Unlicensed all in with a chance but the tentative vote goes to the last named. Unlicensed has improved with each of his three career starts and caught the eye when fifth of twelve in a competitive affair here last time out. This step up in trip will also be in his favour as he has been doing all his best work late on in his races and with that in mind he has to be one for the short list. Flash of Colour ran well to finish second to Relative Strength at Kempton last time out. He looks to be another improving with experience and will pose a real danger to the selection so has to be respected. As does Always Bold who has his first run for Mark Johnston and any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Unlicensed
