Whitby Jet had dropped to a fair mark when scoring here in January then completed a double off a 4lb higher mark in a better race here. There's no reason why he shouldn't get into the frame again. Lady Lunchalot won twice here in November and has been performing with credit since but keeps going up the weights without winning. PERFECT CRACKER ran so well when runner-up to Syncopate here in December that he started favourite in his next race at Kempton. He didn't perform as well but back on this track could be the one to beat. Handsome Stranger ran a couple of times over hurdles in the autumn which must have done him good as he gained his first all-weather victory at Kempton last month. He's only up 3lb so can get involved again along with Steel River, who took a big drop in class at Kempton in January but couldn't cope with Ocean Applause.
