      Verdict

It took Hammy End 17 attempts to win on the all-weather but he finally did so at Southwell last month and is 5lb higher. Surrey Princess had the measure of Tribuna Uffizi when landing an amateurs' race at Chelmsford while the frustrating Blazer Two found one too good yet again at Kempton. Mint Julep’s recent placed effort came over 2m but CAFE SYDNEY has been competing over shorter trips since scoring over course and distance in January and Tony Carroll’s charge should go close again.
