Verdict
The action moves on to the Turf track for this Oaks Trial and John Gosden, who won this with subsequent Oaks winner Anapurna last year, has a strong hand once again. He runs three with MISS YODA preferred on her second in the Group 3 Zetland Stakes over 1m2f at Newmarket to Max Vega. The latter is trained by Ralph Beckett and he sends Heart Reef, who came up short in Listed company last time but will appreciate this longer trip. Anastarsia struggled in the Fillies’ Mile when last in action while stablemate and Godolphin filly Lake Lucerne won a maiden race over 1m2f at Chelmsford. West End Girl won the Sweet Solera over 7f back in August but lost her way after that and So I Told You makes most appeal of the remainder having landed a maiden race at Nottingham in October.
