In depth

Verdict

Woodnook, Forest Dane and Hammer of The Gods are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the narrow vote is given to Woodnock. The selection won with a little in hand last time out when beating Forest Dane and although rising in the weights this does not look much tougher and from a good draw he is taken to win again. Forest Dane is sure to have his supporters on these revised terms but the suspicion is he still has a little to find. Hammer Of The Gods is another that could go well on his best form but he has given the impression he is in the handicapers grip of late and is taken on with this in mind. Jimmy The Guesser is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is another that looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Sant Elena has the ability to go close but is from a yard that is in bad form and with this in mind for the winner we return to Woodnock to small stakes.
