Verdict
Peponi had Caldercruix, Huzzah and Daruband behind when a well-beaten runner-up at Kempton last time and should confirm running, but Aquilifer only just got the better of Hereford Boy and Mazamorra over C&D last month with Cativo Cavallino well behind and will need to improve again off his new mark. Sweet Secret is up 5lb for a narrow victory at Kempton recently so THE HOLYMAN makes more appeal. He ran out of steam in the closing stages over a longer trip here in October, but won his maiden over 7f at this track last year and Jo Crowley's colt has plenty of scope for improvement on only his sixth start.
