Verdict

An open handicap here in which narrow preference is for Wrighty Almighty ahead of Satyricon, Inside Story and Garden Party. The selection comes here on the back of a good win at Kempton and this course and distance winner has solid claims despite a 4lb rise in the weights. He seems to be improving with every start and from a decent draw he should go well. Garden Party must be of interest given the guts he showed to win over the course and distance last time, so whilst a mark of 73 certainly looks high enough for this return to handicap company, he should not be overlooked. Satyricon represents a stable in fair form and confidence should be high following a claiming win at Kempton, whilst Parkview Love and Faithful Ruler are both consistent but tend to find one too good. Inside Story represents a shrewd stable and needs to be watched for significant market support emerging from stall one, however whilst Corlough Mountain is better than his last run and could go well at a price, it is Wrighty Almighty who gets the nod.
