In depth

Verdict

Cyborg makes most appeal in a decent race, dangers include Calaficial, Spanish Cruise and Psychological. The selection ran a blinder in a strong race at Sandown on his racecourse debut and the Halling gelding should prove capable of going one better in this company with the all-weather surface unlikely to be a problem. Wiesenfurst was a long way behind that day but he had shown promise on debut, the winner has run well in a better race since, and he may be able to take closer order. Spanish Cruise won a junior bumper here on debut but never looked like getting competitive at Fontwell on soft ground next time; he's opposable. Psychological, Sheer Magnetism and Ashleys Poppy have all shown promise but need to improve and Calaficial may emerge as a bigger threat. He won here in December to confirm the promise shown on debut; his latest run was too bad to be true and he merits respect but he could struggle to concede weight to the selection, Cyborg.
