        In depth

        Verdict

        Understory got the better of Gaelic Silver over track and trip three weeks ago and that pair are closely matched as the latter re-opposes on better terms. Smokey Oakey was beaten over three lengths in the same race but will have come on for the outing but Honey Of A Kitten has more to do in this having landed a seller here last time. Jewelled finished a creditable third at Kempton on her first start since August and will be winning sooner rather than later but PATEGONIA gets another chance today. He's let favourite backers down in his last couple of starts in maidens but looks on a decent mark for his handicap bow and stable jockey William Buick returns from Japan to pick up his only ride of the meeting.
