        Verdict

        Fareeq had slipped down the weights before beating Prominna easily enough over track and trip last time with previous winner Sandfrankskipsgo further behind. But he’s back up 6lb for this and worse off with MERCERS for an earlier defeat here in January. The latter clipped heels and fell behind Pharoh Jake on his latest start but has had time to recover and Paddy Butler’s charge gets another chance. Big Time Maybe won a seller at the track last summer and has tumbled down the handicap subsequently while Come On Dave is another back on a winning mark having recently switched yards.
