      Verdict

      ENCORE D’OR had just the four outings last year without without winning but looked an improved colt on his first start for Robert Cowell when scoring at Wolverhampton last month. There should be more to come from him this season and he can confirm latest running with Dynamo Walt. There was little between stablemates Bertie Blu Boy and Secret Asset when they filled the places over track and trip a week ago while Duke Of Firenze is preferred to Sandfrankskipsgo off his current mark and could go well on the back of a third at Epsom.
