Verdict
We will just side with Hallandale here, although Grand Jour, Mister Benedictine and Savannah Pride are all very much respected. Basically, Hallandale has shown plenty of promise in two starts and the first-time visor and drop to six furlongs might well bring about further improvement. Nicely bred, Grand Jour might go well, while Mister Benedictine has shown fairly decent form and maybe failed to stay at Folkestone last time, so he has to be high on the list of possibles. The London Gang hasn't really built on his early season promise but has form enough to be given a shout, while Crazy Bear and Mighty Moon are others that have likeable breeding. From a stable in flying form, Savannah Pride, who has also shown promise thus far, has also to be seriously considered. If the draw does not present a major problem, though, we will give a tentative vote to Hallandale.
