    Verdict

Emkanaat cost 160,000gns but disappointed when sent off odds-on for his debut at Warwick a fortnight ago and is presumably capable of much better. However, until he proves it, he's worth taking on and COOKIESHAKE is preferred. Luca Cumani's charge stepped up on his debut run when second at Newcastle last time and today's faster surface can see him go one better. The remainder look to be fighting for third place and Ffajir could come out best in first-time headgear, though Harvest Mist ran well enough on his debut over C&D and will have come on for the experience.
