In depth

Verdict

There was definite promise in Taravara’s debut over 7f at Doncaster while Ivynator wasn’t beaten far at Beverley when forced to race wide but DARK MOTIVE, representing a stable in cracking form, would probably have won at Newbury in another couple of strides so is taken to open her account at the second attempt. Fleur De Guy and Dejame Paso may do better when switched to handicaps.
