Verdict
New York Oscar gets the vote here with Texas Gold and Rainbow Mirage rating the main dangers. The selection won with a little in hand last time out when beating Texas Gold and although that rival is weighted to get closer the selection looks sure to have the race run to suit, and he is taken to win again. Texas Gold is sure to have his supporters on these revised terms but he is not getting any better at the age of 9. Rainbow Mirage was a fair third behind Ajigolo last time and if the blinkers sharpen him up he would have definite place claims. Mandarin Spirit is well weighted on his best form but he is becoming hard to win with and for the winner we return to New York Oscar who is in the form of his life.
