        Verdict

        WESTERN EYES went off an unfancied 33/1 on her recent return from a six-month absence. She was doing her best work at the finish without troubling the leaders but is open to plenty of improvement on only her fourth start. Brian Meehan's filly gets the nod ahead of recent Wolverhampton winner Iguacu and Pab Special. The latter showed signs of a return to form on his latest outing here., while Little Meadow always tries her best but has yet to score in 15 starts.
