        Verdict

        Majestical, Undeterred and Franksalot head the shortlist and our tentative selection is for Majestical. Milton Bradley's horse has been in fine form this winter although this has not escaped the handicappers notice. He ran creditably over seven furlongs last time up but this is his trip and he has to have a solid chance on this afternoon's draw. Franksalot has been threatening a win for quite some time. He was staying on well from a poor draw on his most recent visit and he should reverse form with Willieconquertoo. Undeterred was entered in the claimer but takes his chance in this race. He had no chance in a race over five furlongs and at ten years of age, his mark of 75 is hardly generous. Effective returns from absence. Alan Jarvis' team havent won too many of late but his team appear to be running better than they were. The market is watched. Similar observations are made with regard to Thurlestone Rock and Adantino,who return from a few months off the track. Depressed has given little for his supporters to enthuse about of late. Majestical is in form and gets the verdict.
