Verdict

Killfinnan Castle ran well when runner-up to Phar Again at Leicester last month and came to grief very early at Fontwell 10 days ago. He should be in the mix as should Mr Bond, whose best effort to date was on this track in November. Prince Louis scored over the trip at Plumpton last March from just 4lb lower but has run badly in three subsequent starts and Sieglinde has run poorly in her three efforts over fences. RUSSELLSTOWN BOY was hit with a big weight rise after a very easy victory in heavy going at Uttoxeter in October and has been unable to cope but he's been lowered 3lb since a fair effort behind Wasntme at Folkestone and can regain the winning thread.
