      Verdict

      CHARGING THUNDER went close on his reappearance over 1m4f at Doncaster. He won over a longer trip than this last season and William Buick’s presence is another positive. Contingency Fee beat Russian Virtue easily enough at Yarmouth recently though found Ravens Ark too good at Brighton last summer, though the latter returns to action. Amazing Red won off a higher mark at Newmarket last summer and is preferred to Fox Vardy.
