      Verdict

      Nosey Barker finally won a maiden when successful over track and trip in December. But he’s been beaten in a handicap since then while Owners Day never figured off a higher mark last time having won in soft ground at Chepstow before that. PEARLY PRINCE (NAP) has yet to win but is having only his sixth start today and was placed over track and trip last month. He has more scope than Officer Drivel and What A Dandy and can land this partnered by Silvestre De Sousa for the first time. Shining Romeo won at Leicester earlier and could go well back over today’s trip.
