        Verdict

        Modernism scored here in October and has won three times subsequently. He's now 14lb higher than that first victory and has a tough task on his hat-trick attempt. Indian Jack overcame trouble in-running to catch Naaz over a mile a month ago but has gone up 6lb and rarely races beyond that trip. He was a long way behind today's rival SHAVANSKY at Kempton in November and, as Rod Millman's veteran is only 1lb higher and has run well in better class lately, he's taken to get back on the winning trail. Amanda Perrett's French import Moonday Sun, a winner four times in his native country, was having just his second start on the surface when runner-up to Rebellious Guest here last week and should improve enough to get involved in what looks a tight little handicap.
