Verdict
This is anybody's race and ACOLYTE gets only a speculative vote. He ran well on his return at Windsor and his trainer won last year's inaugural running. Explain will have also come on for his recent second at Bath and Newmarket winner Gun Case should give a good account. Dame Liberty made a winning start at Sandown but that was nearly a year ago now and all-weather winner Mullionheir is upped 10lb as he bids for a hat-trick. Absolute Champion ended last year with a maiden win at Kempton and is another to consider.
