      Verdict

      Fast Finian is 9lb higher than his win at Wolverhampton in September but is still improving judged on his latest second at the same track. He's not easily overlooked but HAAF A SIXPENCE is just preferred. The latter was having his first outing since May when third at Kempton last month and the dual Wolverhampton winner should improve enough to come out best in this. Crew Cut had both Bayleyf and Blue Jack behind when fourth here last time and makes more appeal than Patriotic.
