        Verdict

        Tobacco Road has failed to complete over hurdles since winning at Windsor in October when Highway One well behind. Global Wonder won over a mile at Kempton in between his more usual modest efforts while Jafetica’s best efforts so far also came over shorter trips and she has plenty to prove. THE BEARFIGHTER is another upped in distance having run better over a mile here last time than his finishing position suggests. He may prove good enough in a weak contest if lasting home and gets a speculative vote with the remainder hard to recommend.
