        Verdict

        Venus Grace won for the first time in 27 attempts when successful over a mile here last time. But she is upped a grade for this while though Baileys Mirage was runner-up at Kempton on her latest start she never looked like troubling the winner. Maureb won a higher grade contest at Carlisle last year and will be sharper for last week's reappearance but POTTERNELLO has run better than her finishing position suggests in both starts so far this year and it could be her turn today for a yard in good form.
