        Verdict

        JONTLEMAN has slipped down the weights since scoring at Newbury in August. He gets the token vote in a thoroughly unappealing contest. Alnoomaas has yet to score on Turf but his rider can claim 7lb while Serena Brotherton's presence on Another Try may indicate a better effort is expected from him. Paradise Spectre makes a quick return after finishing fourth at Brighton on Wednesday but has done all his winning over 6f so far while Hernando Torres won one of these events over 1m2f last term. Shifting Star may prove best of the rest.
