A pretty dire handicap here with little in form and we'll side with Caltire to follow up his recent Brighton success, with Sharps Gold and Rowan Dancer having frame claims. The selection landed a 10f handicap on good to soft last time and has been raised 4lb here. He also has winning experience here in his favour, albeit on the polytrack, but his pedigree suggests this fast ground will also be a plus, so we'll side with him. Sharps Gold is inconsistent, but has produced a couple of good enough runs of late in the context of this race and does get this trip. Rowan Dancer is still open to improvement after just four starts. The trip should be fine for her, though the firm ground might not. Blandys Wood seems to act ok on the ground but would probably prefer cut and Quinzey's Best went well on a Salisbury road last time, so has to enter calculations. Even so, Caltire at least has the confidence from a recent win and can back it up here.
