In depth
Verdict
MAZARIS makes plenty of appeal against Colour Trooper and Casela Park. Luca Cumani's handicap debutants always make plenty of appeal in the market and with this being a maiden, it's certainly interesting that this option has been taken. Close up at Great Leighs last time out, he was quietly backed before the contest and can reward backers here. Colour Trooper is surprisingly stepped back down in trip having appeared to have shown improvement for the rise to 10. Casela Park is a habitual slow starter but his style of running on at the death should suit this track. Follow The Band has been a bitter disappointment and shows no signs of progression. Candy Rose may make more appeal when sent handicapping. Girl Of Pangaea has worryingly disappeared off the radar for the best part of the year before coming back to the track. Caro George cost connections 170 000 guineas and has begun to look more than just a tad overpriced. The usual advice about watching the market applies and we are with Mazaris.
