        Verdict

        Ranavalona showed enough last time to make her the one to beat today and she is preferred to Tilapia and Ice Box. The selection was just caught in the shadows of the winning post here last time by Homes By Woodford. That was an improved effort and from a good draw today he is taken to go one better. Tilapia hails from the Sir Mark Prescott yard so is entitled to respect with the step-up in trip expected to suit. He should be monitored in the market for signs of confidence. Ice Box has a poor draw but she did finish in front of Tilapia last time when she got outpaced in the early stages and she certainly gave the impression that this longer trip would see her in a better light. A Nod And A Wink has got some fair form and is the other to consider, but Ranavalona looks to be going the right way and gets the vote.
