Verdict

Much of HURAKAN's chance will depend on his run here on Monday but even so on these terms he should go well in this claimer and gets the selection ahead of War Of The Roses while the on-form Lytham looks interesting despite being up against it at the weights. A winner of back-to-back races at Kempton prior to Monday's run it would seem the selection is in a bit of form. He's the type of animal that the yard do well with and barring a disaster two days previous he has every chance on these terms. War Of The Roses drops into this grade for the first time having found life tough in handicaps off of his current rating. His Lingfield strike rate is good and if running up to his best he rates a live contender. Lytham is on a four timer having landed three Kempton Handicaps in a row. He's just as effective at this circuit so despite adverse terms remains on the shortlist. Both Strong Storm and Turnham Green will have to improve to be winning here so with a keen eye on Monday's race we give Hurakan the nod.
