Verdict
SHANGHAI GRACE continues to improve and landed a hat-trick with the minimum of fuss over course and distance a fortnight ago. He looks the safest proposition in this, despite a further rise in the weights, and is taken to confirm earlier running with Facethepuckout. Magical Wish went close over 6f on his reappearance but attempts today’s distance for the first time while Winter Light has done his winning over shorter trips, though landed the odds in good style at Chelmsford in October. Attainment is a novice winner over track and trip and returns to action along with Sir Victor but Freedom And Wheat remains 10lb higher than when scoring here at the end of last year.
