      Verdict

Loraine was only beaten a short-head at Salisbury last time and a repeat effort should see her in contention again. But KHELAC is just preferred in this opener as he showed the first signs of benefiting from a tumble down the weights when third at Beverley last week. Rated 12lb higher at the start of the season, Philip Hide's charge can finally open his account. Brighton winner Pink Mischief has shown little so far this season so Double Star makes more appeal having scored at Bath last month.
