Verdict

RARE TERN is stepped up a further furlong after just being held by a head earlier in the month and she is just the sort that gets Sir Mark Prescott so many winners. She stayed on well towards the finish and gets the vote to lose her maiden tag. Frankie Dettori has won 23% of races this season when combining with Mark Johnston and with Amity coming here after winning last time she may represent the biggest threat to our pick. D'Urberville could also contend in this tricky to call finale having won at the course in his penultimate start, although we swerve him given that he has since lost comprehensively at Brighton.
