Verdict
ELYSEE PALACE is the pick with Charm School and Amazing Star as the others to make appeal. The selection looks a progressive sort and she beat a field chock full of similar types on her recent outing at Newbury. A previous winner at the course, there is every reason to believe that there is more to come. Charm School couldn't build upon an impressive debut success at Doncaster. It would be folly to discount her on the basis of one disappointing performance. Amazing Star has been beaten off marks in the 80's in Ireland. He is yet to recapture his juvenile form. Grand Vizier was won four from five on the artificial surfaces though disappointed on turf at Yarmouth last month. Salient simply should have won more prizes than he has. Alfresco's search for the winning thread sees a return up to a mile. A good handicap for the money and Elysee Palace is our preference.
